This site is a prototype for a portal to information about studies and articles about heroes. When I was a gradate English student, I was interested in the archetypes, historical periods, and genres in which heroic figures appear in literature. The purpose of this website will to be to categorize and provide links to the research and information that is available on the web. The audience includes anyone looking for a starting point to look up information about heroes, whether academic or general interest. The audience will have the opportunity to comment on articles, and suggest new ones to which to link.
